Terms of Use

License Agreement

The MSA.IDX index data is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0.

This means that you are free to use, share, and adapt the data for any purpose, including commercial use, as long as you give MSA.IDX credit and share any new works under the same license.

What does this mean for you?

  • You can use the data to create your own indexes, databases, or other applications.
  • You can share the data with others, either publicly or privately.
  • You can modify the data to suit your own needs.
  • You can even sell the data or use it to create commercial products.

The only requirement is that you give credit to MSA.IDX and distribute any new work under the same license. This means that you must include the following information in your attribution:

Heavy users and future policy changes

If this project gets more traffic than expected, there might be a limit for API calls.

Heavy users (more than 5000 API calls per day or 1000 times using the web interface), please contact me. For such a case we can discuss options for customized and more performant API endpoints and a formula to share costs for the backend.


Privacy Statement

No analytics tools are used on this site. Only HTTP cookies are used to store theme color or user settings.
